At the Madres Collective we don't hire women to make handmade goods; we make handmade goods to hire women.
We partner with female artisans in the Dominican Republic, Haiti and Guatemala to bring you fair trade products that make an impact by providing sustainable jobs and dignified employment.
Our artisan partners receive tools and training in artisanal techniques, equipping them to create beautiful goods that symbolize hope for a better future. By earning fair wages, our artisans are empowered to put food on the table, pay for their children’s school supplies and invest in her own education.
When women thrive, so do families and communities.
That is what drives us.
